THE EVIL ROOT

WHAT IS REPENTANCE?

When the root is bad the tree will also be bad. But when the root is cleansed the tree will revive and will become good again.

People have been admonished to bless the memory of their ancestors and never say anything bad about the deceased. People hate to resurrect anything evil that dwells in their ancestral roots for they do not want to deal with them. Jesus said, "So you testify against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers."

God sees us all as trees with roots the stump, limbs branches and finally fruits. The past, the present and the future are fully known to to Omnipresent God. But amid His creation is our resolve. Will we choose to deal with something we even abhor or we will keep on only blessing the memory of our ancestors and do nothing about the root?

Since through our fruits we are being known; bad fruits point much deeper than just one short thin stem. There is the limb,a trunk and also roots.

The axe is already laid at the root of every tree (Mat. 3:10) and not at the tip of its crown.

If we want to be fruitful and truly free repentance for the sins of our forefathers is not only biblical but is also what God requires from us.

[2Kings 22:13] “Go, inquire of the LORD for me and the people and all Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found, for great is the wrath of the LORD that burns against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.”

Kings who repented received grace. There is no escaping from the jealously loving and living God. He is your and my Creator. Bad things happen not because there is Satan and the devil is on a prowl, but rather because of God's jealousy over His own creation.

[James 4:5] He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us.

The returning exiles did not bless the memory of their fathers, but confessed their iniquities, sins and transgressions before the Lord.

[Nehemiah 9:2] The descendants of Israel separated themselves from all foreigners, and stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.

An example of confession and humbling.

[Nehemiah 9:34] For our kings, our leaders, our priests and our fathers have not kept Your law or paid attention to Your commandments and Your admonitions with which You have admonished them.

Jesus provoked repentance even in those who opposed Him. They had the key to the kingdom, but did not use them and prevented others from using the keys of the Truth. Many do the same today. It is easier to assume that people are dumb and then confuse them all the more; complicate the straight and simple and bind the confused.

[Matthew 23:13] But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from people; for you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.

There is the knowledge of good and the knowledge of evil, but it is still only knowledge. A teacher of righteousness teaches us as to how to handle this knowledge. The Tree of Knowledge was only a tree of contrasts learning. A wise choice must be presented in a such a way that one sees clarity; one being motivated by love chooses that which is good. It is so simple and yet so complicated…
[Luke 11:52] Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you yourselves did not enter, and you hindered those who were entering.

Behold I am giving you the key of knowledge, which outside of myself hardly anyone is willing to teach for one even does not know yet this new reality in which I walk. One cannot teach that which one does not know. Twenty-six years ago I have truly repented for the sins of my ancestors and God thoroughly cleansed my ancestral line. Ever since that day I have been riding on the heights of God.

[Jeremiah 3:15] I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding.

[Isaiah 58:14] "Then you will take delight in the LORD, and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father," for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

The other way is to do nothing and keep on beating on a dead horse; never identifying any ancestral evils, which one would have to deal with today. One can stay miserable, confused and bound up. Or, one can be liberated and ride upon "holy clouds" already now.

Jesus identifies wicked ancestry and provokes the repentance desire, but He had no such luck.

[Matthew 23:29-32] “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, ‘If we had been living in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partners with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ So you testify against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers."

What? "You testify against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets?" Then this sweet Jesus spitefully adds, "Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers." Let the blind lead the blind. fall into a ditch. Know no peace.

[Luke 19:42] If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

What's been hidden? - The way of peace they do not know, it is a secret which they even don't bother to discover. But glory to God! I know these most glorious way of peace, which I teach those whop have ears to hear and open hearts to receive.

An evil root is the love of religion and religiousness. The old established Jewish religion had to give way to the new, but they could not let go for such men hate anything new (but only regarding the Almighty God) and fresh and the living. Now, after 2000 years the new wineskins (Christianity) has also become old and became resistant to anything new and any changes; for it is none other but the same root of death and stubbornness. There is not even one religion better than another. All religions are stuck in something old and dead. As a result of this unyielding stubbornness the evil root continues.

[Acts 7:51-53] “You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did. Which one of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? They killed those who had previously announced the coming of the Righteous One, whose betrayers and murderers you have now become; you who received the law as ordained by angels, and yet did not keep it.”

One can be accused of anti-Semitism, but these are Peter's and Paul personal experiences from people that happen to be Judeans. The same goes for all other peoples.

[1Thessalonians 2:14-16] For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, for you also endured the same sufferings at the hands of your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews, who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out. They are not pleasing to God, but hostile to all men, hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved; with the result that they always fill up the measure of their sins. But wrath has come upon them to the utmost.
